Q: I just signed into my participant center. Now what? What are all these tabs?

• The Participant Center homepage displays your fundraising progress as well as your recent activity. This will help you plan your next steps as a NET-Raiser.
• The E-mail page is where you can  reach out directly to your NET-works.  You can recruit new team members, ask for donations, and follow up with your supporters and thank them for their participation. You will see suggested messages that we have created for you, or you can write your own.
• On the Progress tab, you will see your fundraising success thus far.  You will also have a list of your recent donations. You will see both your personal progress as well as the progress of your team.
• You can even enter offline gifts. So if someone in your NET-work writes a check that you want credited to your team, you can add it with the “Enter a new gift” button.
• The Personal Page tab is where you can customize your page and update its appearance. You can load photos or a video, and edit the main message.  This is a great place to talk about what inspired you to become a NET-Raiser.
• For team captains, you will also have the Team Page tab, which is where you can edit the look and feel of your team page. This is similar to the personal page.

Q: I want my fundraising to be associated with one of Nothing But Nets’ partner organizations. How do I do that?

• Many of our supporters are affiliated with one of our major partner organizations, such as the people of the United Methodist Church, the Union for Reform Judaism, Junior Chamber International, etc. If you would like to create a team and have your fundraising reflected in the partner’s overall total, you can now do so.
• On the NET-Raiser homepage, you will see a NET-Raiser Partners button. When you click on that link, you will be taken to a list of our major partners. Clicking on that partner page will take you to their main page, which shows their fundraising goals and progress.
• From there, you can either create a new team associated with that partner or join an existing team. Your contributions and those of your sponsors will contribute to their overall goals.

Q: Do I have to make or join a team, or can I just fundraise on my own?

• If you would prefer not to join or create a team, you can just set up your own fundraising page. From the homepage, click the Individual Netraiser button and follow the registration steps. Now you’re ready to send nets and save lives!

Q: I’d like to support Nothing But Nets, but I don’t want to set up a fundraising page. Can I just contribute to the overall goal?

• If you would prefer not to register as a NET-Raiser, but would still like to support the campaign, you can certainly do so. On the NET-Raiser homepage, you will see a thermometer that reflects the campaign progress. Within that box, click the link that says “Make a gift.” You will be taken to a donation page where your gift will be added to the overall goal, but not to any specific team.
