Flowers for Girl Up!
I make flower headbands and hairbands to sell around my community, donating all proceeds to Girl Up! In addition, I planned and hosted a "Girl Power Night" to raise awareness of the issues that Girl Up addresses.

A few weeks ago, I heard about Girl Up and decided that I wanted to help their cause. I wondered about ideas for a fundraiser and while having a discussion with a teacher at school, I came up with the idea for an ice cream sundae fundraiser. I met with a committee at school to approve the event, and once it was approved, organized it.
